1. How can I upload files changed since I last shut down the program?You just open your task and an Operation Tips dialog is shown. You may check the box “Search for new files...” first, and then choose how many days of files will be searched. If you are first time to run this program or the files under the monitored directory are not too many, you may choose option “Search for all files”.

Why can't I overwrite an ftp file?If you have unchecked the option “Always Overwrite (event the server file is newer)” on the task “Property” dialog and the local file is older than the ftp file, it will not overwrite. If you want to overwrite it always, open your task "Property" dialog and check the option. But sometimes the ftp file is locked and you can't open it for writing any more. You have to ignore it. Right click the ftp server (Figure 2.1) from the ftp-list and select “Ignore Current File” to ignore this file and go on.

and check option "Create backup file before overwrite a file”. Then before overwriting an existent ftp file, automatically
rename it first. Once you want to recover, you can rename it back by hand:

4. I don't want to monitor subdirectories.Open the task "Property" dialog and uncheck the option "Monitor subdirectories". 5. How can I upload some files which are not in the monitored directory?l Click menu [File]->[Manual]->[Add Files] to open the "Add Files" dialog(Figure 5.1).
l Click button” add” to add open the second dialog (Figure 5.2).
l By default, the root directory is your monitored directory (such
as "D:\test\"). But files you want to upload are under another
directory, you need to select a new root directory. Click button l Now select some files from the right-bottom listbox and click “OK” to close this dialog and come back to the first dialog (Figure 5.1). l Click “OK” to add these files to upload queue and upload. Example: If your local root directory is “E:\upload”, and you have select a file “E:\upload\1\test.htm”; If your ftp server’s base directory is "/Dir", then file “E:\upload\1\test.htm” will be upload to "/Dir/1/test.htm". 6.
